Welcome to the official website for the Town of Jonesville. Anita Darnell was sworn in as Mayor of the Town of Jonesville on December 12, 2022 after serving as Mayor Pro-Tempore over the past eight years.

Jonesville was incorporated in 1811 and today nearly 2,250 people call Jonesville home.  Jonesville merged with Arlington in 2001.  Though a small town, with an area of only 2.9 square miles which includes 13 acres of water, we consider it the Heart of the Yadkin Valley.  Jonesville is bordered on the north by the Yadkin River where one can enjoy a stroll along the Jonesville Greenway Trail, fishing, canoeing, rafting or just listening to the river while gazing at the stars.

Residents and visitors alike can enjoy eight locally owned and six franchise restaurants, day trips to Jonesville Greenway Trail, Lila Swaim Park, Stone Mountain State Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Pilot Mountain State Park and much more!

Our town is located along the Historic 21 highway and Interstate 77 making us a main thoroughfare for those traveling north and south between Canada and Florida. Also we are conveniently located within 45 minutes of Winston-Salem, 30 minutes to Statesville & Mt. Airy, an hour to Boone, and just over an hour to Charlotte, North Carolina.
