Jonesville Public Library Build Project

Overview

In 2022, Jonesville Town Council working with the Friends of the Jonesville Public Library began the process of a new building at 112 N. Swaim Street, Jonesville. This building’s purpose is to be a permanent home for the Jonesville Public Library.  The 4000 square foot, ADA complaint design will allow adequate space for updated technology, educational materials, Tech Hub, Makers Space, Story Telling and STEM classes amount other programs. The purpose of the project is to provide public resource/location suitable for all residents and visitors of the Town of Jonesville.

Funding for the project is being provided through multiple sources. NC Commerce, Rural Transformation Grant – $900,000.
